Partying for a Purpose is happy to announce that fantastic artist Dave Dickey will be painting one of his masterpieces live at the Ooh La La Party at the Playboy Mansion. And then, he will offer the painting for auction with proceeds being donated to It’s All About the Kids Foundation. You will find him on the way to the Zoo, on the right of the stage.

David Alton Dickey can paint the wavescapes we see in our dreams. Lush hillsides, sandy perches without a footprint in sight, a stacking set of inviting waves peeling down an empty, desolate point setup. Dave can create the kinds of heavenly, psychedelic skies –- vivid, streaking colors that bounce rainbow luminance off the ocean’s surface and back up to the friendly clouds –- and private beach scenarios that beg you to spread out the towel, unfold the beach chair, and pop open a frosty Corona.

Dave has been a supporter of It’s All About the Kids for over 5 years. He donates works of art for auctions. Most importantly, Dave and girlfriend Marlowe donated their time in January and February 2011 and taught art classes to homeless teens.
